Do you think Global warming is real or myth created by charities and people like Green Peace, World Wild Life Fund, Bill Nye the science guy, etc?

Is Global Warming man made, or caused by other things like the Sun heating up the earth because of increase solar activity?

I think Global Warming is real since I notice the summers, and falls to be longer.

I think Global Warming could be man made, but also could because of the sun heating up more.

Well, global warming was a thing before humans, in fact there was a time when the CO2 level in the atmosphere was significantly more than what it is today, because the plants simultaneously released their CO2. However, we humans are speeding up the process at dangerous speeds, and we need to do something about it before we blow up the planet with CO2.

I'm with the others, humans are resulting in speeding it up, but we aren't the cause. All planets will have a life span, and humans will cut Earths life span because of our effects on global warming.

Well I do believe humans are the main cause of the Global Warming issues today. For one, there is a fact that was proven by scientists during the 9/11 hijackings. After the US grounded air travel for almost 3 - 5 days, the Earth's global temperature was decreased by 1.1 degrees celsius (2 degrees fahrenheit). To prove my fact, this is the article on CNN about it: CNN Article And here is another topic on the matter as well: BBC Science.

I for one think the human race is the main cause of Global Warming. And if we don't act fast, we won't have a planet left for the human race to thrive on and move forward for a better future that could be the human race in the ever expanding universe.

I think it is a natural occurence, and at times has a cooling period that works the same way, but on the opposite end of the spectrum, but at the same time, I don't think that it is any coincidence that as Earth's human population has increased, and advancements in technology over many aspects of our lives has increased, so too has the effects of Global Warming.

That said, I think that humans have contributed to this as well, and even if our contribution isn't as dire as originally estimated, I don't think that taking the extra intiative to lessen our impact will kill us, especially since it can only save us money and make us healthier at the same time.

I really don't understand the politics surrounding this issue since, by trying to lessen our impact, we can only become weathier through the money saved and healthier from the increased exercise.

Sorry but you are wrong. What you are doing is confusing the terms "cause" and "escalation".

If humans were the cause of global warming then you are basically saying that global warming never existed before humans were on this planet and would never exist if humans didn't exist.

What humans are responsible for is "escalating" the global warming situation. Global warming is first off a natural problem. Every planet is likely to suffer from a level of global warming. What humans have done throughout Earths history is increase the rate and severity of the global warming situation and has made it worse than it would have been if humans didn't occupy this planet. But, humans are not the cause for the existence of global warming, only the speeding up of it's effects.

The effects are really too obvious for it to be a myth.
And as everyone said, humans are increasing the process

Sorry but you are wrong. What you are doing is confusing the terms "cause" and "escalation".

It depends on how you see it, true we didn't cause global warning, but on the other hand I also think that some of the effects of the current global warming might not have occurred without us here.

Sorry but you are wrong.
You really don't like letting other people think their opinions are right.-_-' Being kind of subjective.

And like Mori said, I don't understand how people can think of it as a myth. Actually I can, people want money! Why blame oil when the rich can keep selling it?

What's the point in letting people think their opinions are right? How are they going to learn? Mori commented on my opinion and i'm grateful for that as it helps me to see things from a slightly different angle. Not my fault if people get upset because i said they are wrong. Afterall that is only my opinion.

It;s an opinion though, it's not a right or wrong. Republicans don't believe it, Democrats do. Who's the right one? In my opinion it's the Democrats, but that doesn't make it true.

I do believe humans are speeding up the process. It seems the fact with icebergs and the O-Zone. I may not know much on this subject, but I do believe humans can have an affect on it.

We do have an affect, but plants releasing oxygen actually caused a huge atmosphere problem about 300 million years ago. The CO2 was in a huge amount back then, but it's almost the same now because of how fast we sped it up.

I wouldn't agree that those sources are very reliable though. CNN's articles pretty much follow other news and just words it different I always thought.
And BBC Science. Lol, they are the ones who punished a one hour special on "Dinosaurs are from space, and probably advanced dinosaurs exist somewhere in space" as well as the "Dinosaurs Fart which destroyed the atmosphere because they are big which caused extinction".
Its hard to believe anyone who, in a short while ago, tried to convince the world of these dumb theories.
