Do you think next-gen game prices are going to rise or stay the same?

There is like 0% chance of them ever going down to $40, to be honest. Even with the Coronavirus outbreak, there will still be people out there willing to pay the normal price for games.

If it does, expect more on DLC prices.

I expect DLC and in-game purchases like extra characters and costumes prices to be more expensive in the future if the price of more games become cheaper or free like Fortnite.

I feel some category of games like sports and car racing games may drop in price faster or go on sale more often since a lot of sports and car racing games are similar from last years game, so they may sell better if they cost less money.

I think they are just going to keep getting more and more expensive with each generation. People are getting paid more money than they use to (with the minimum wage increasing and all) so they'll raise the prices to match what people are making. And that's before the Coronavirus hit.
