Do you think people need cash as well?

it can always happen, a nation wide downage to the credit system would screw a lot of people.

At least, there are still pawn shops and stores like Gamestop which buy people's old things like electronics and video games in exchange for money, so people can still get money by selling their stuff if the credit system is down.

People can also trade their things like books and hats for other things, which someone else own, like a table or lamp, or services like home repairs.

True, but in an emergency, the last thing you want to have to do is sell your stuff for money. If we're ever in a situation that like, countries will end up with riots

Not sure if you saw the rick and morty ep that actually covers something like this, as all money vaule had no vaule.

Hopefully, most for-profit private hospitals and medical clincs will still accept poorer patients if the credit card system is down, and they can't quickly borrow thousands of dollars.

I feel in an emergency large companies like Amazon will be able to setup offline retail stores where people can quickly sell their things in exchange for money, items, food, and services.
