Yes, I think someday there will be $200 Gaming Laptops like the Nvidia Shield Gaming Tablet, and other similar Gaming tablets. Nvidia, AMD, and Intel could release more affordable powerful computer chips like CPUs, and video chips, and price them at an affordable price like $40-60 for each part.
But, the screen size of $200 Gaming tablets will be smaller. The laptops may not come with extra features like a webcam, built-in microphone, SD Card Reader, backlit keyboard, and a touchscreen, so laptop makers can sell a Gaming laptop for $200.
I think VR will start out pricey, but the price of machines which can handle VR will drop in price to prevent the VR industry from dying too quickly because of expensive hardware.
The machines maybe sold at lower prices, so that VR becomes more popular, so VR does not end up like 3D, and Blu-Ray which is still not as popular as lower quality video from DVD, online video streaming, pirated movie and tv shows downloaded or torrentted with Bittorent, and Digital Cable TV service which video resolution size is still 720P and lower in Canada, and the US.
