Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Super Bowl Trailer

Cumberbatch's comments on the ban:

"It is, I’m afraid, an expected disappointment," said Cumberbatch. "We’ve come to know from those repressive regimes that their lack of tolerance is exclusionary to people who deserve to be not only included, but celebrated for who they are and made to feel part of a society and a culture and not punished for their sexuality. It feels truly out of step with everything that we’ve experienced as a species, let alone where we’re at globally more as a culture, but frankly, it’s just even more reason why this isn’t tokenism to include an LGBTQ+ community member."

"This character is that from the comics. It’s not something we’ve created for the sake of diversity," elaborated Cumberbatch. "We’ve included her because of how awesome she is as a character. And that’s just one aspect of her character and that’s all it should be, but sadly, it’s also now, politically, very charged. And I wish it wasn’t."

The scene that's causing the ban is just a 12 seconds scene lol:

The scene in question reportedly lasts for "barely 12 seconds" and has lesbian character America Chavez mention that she has "two moms." Nawaf Alsabhan, Saudi Arabia's general supervisor of cinema classification, explained that "because [Chavez] has two moms ... it's very tough to pass something like this" in the Middle East.

China bans the movie, read from CBR:

Since last year, there has been heavy speculation about whether or not Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will make it into Chinese theaters. After months without news or official announcements, audiences finally have confirmation.

Chinese box office analyst and reporter Oliver Chen confirmed that the long-awaited Doctor Strange sequel has been officially banned. No official reason has been provided, though there are several issues attached to the film where China is concerned. It's uncertain whether or not there was one of these issues or all of them that caused the ban.

Read the movie has violent death scenes.

Yeah, I'm not watching this for the reason of being inclusive and argumentative of other cultures that know the inclusion of this character is wrong and wasn't written differently for the general audience to like the movie more.

I also heard you need to watch wanda vision before seeing this as well, booo.
I think by now you can buy the DVD set, which I think I searched for and it is out if you don't want the sub. However, that could be a show of its own with less action, more politics, and some drama. Just from my assumption.

I rarely buy any DVDs that contain less than 12 eps.
