Does anyone else not like using Miis in Nintendo games?

Or for that matter, any of the other console avatars in games where they're playable?

I don't. I've always preferred using a fictional character in a video game to myself or a real life individual, and I've always found it jarring to have 'real' people in the Mushroom Kingdom or such like.

So for me, Shy Guy, Wario, Dry Bones and Funky Kong for the win!

Anyone else feel the same way?

I always enjoyed using my Xbox avatar or PS Home character or Mii, but some games, as you said, they feel out of place and take me out of my element. I like when games allow you to choose which you want rather than obligate you.

I like characters with personality, and obviously Mii's dont have that.

I only ever use miis in Mario Kart 7 online because when I'm up against a mii its easier to remember which player it is when there are 5 metal marios. Whivh has happened.
