To help Nintendo do better?

Because he doesn't seem to have learned to do anything outside of saying 'please understand', and the company does feel like it needs a more down to earth leader and CEO.

But what do you think? Does Iwata have to go for Nintendo to be successful again?

Kind of sad these kinds of topics have been popping up in the last few months and Iwata's last announcement was a apology for their E3 display.

Bottom line though, I did feel a new leadership is needed for Nintendo. Time will tell.

Sad day for gaming, this man was a great programmer and I felt he did a good job leading the company despite the recent moaning and groaning from the gaming community. What other CEO do you know that would cut their salary in half? :)

Nintendo will make it I'm sure. They're got a lot of people that can come in and fill this role, lets just hope it's someone that understands programming, graphic design, how to manage a team, and has the drive to work long hours to get projects out on time.
