You can always just use the Chakra ability materia for healing without needing MP in FF7 remake though it's tougher without a real healer in the party and with the items completely locked out in hardmode.

Magic is not locked in hard mode but MP needed to cast it does not recover at all after resting.

I find healing roles in any MMO way too stressful.
It's one role that depends on how other people play, if they know what they're doing it's gonna be rewarding experience since you hold your cooldowns and big heals for big damage spikes.
If they don't you'll be spamming heals, stressing out and if somebody dies it's never his/hers fault.
It's always healers fault. That's why I stick to DPS roles. I depend only on myself.
