Long story short, he made up some new Xbox successor info, sent it to a bunch of 'journalists' as an anonymous tipster and got it published despite no evidence whatsoever that any of it was accurate.
Indeed, it's a great illustration of how lazy and obsessed with cheap page views these gaming news sites are, since they all just copied it down from each other and didn't even bother to verify any of it. What happened to any sort of standards? Caring what you write and post on your websites?
