Good news, in order to increase your carry weight, the next Fallout 76 update will introduce a new faction and backpacks, and the game gets a double XP event this weekend.

The latest patch 9 is coming to Fallout 76 on May 7 and brings the “Ever Upwards!” update to Wild Appalachia. Fallout 76 gamers can join the Pioneer Scouts just by checking out the factions posters at Train Stations throughout the game, and then finish activities to show that they have got what it takes to join the scouts, and earn badges to use at Pioneer Scout vending machines in exchange for looting to use at your own campsite.

Getting the rank of Mighty Possum would unlock much tougher challenges for harder-to-earn badges, allowing you to unlock your very first backpack.

The Fallout 76 backpacks are new items which can increase players' carry weight. They could be customized to change their looks and functional mods can also be added as long as you have mastered to craft them. Mods include best Fallout 76 power armor plating for increased damage resistance, increased carry capacity, and a refrigeration unit to prevent food going bad. Even though these mods will take up too much space in your backpack.

Meanwhile, there is a double XP (experience) event for both Survival and Adventure modes, starting off April 26 at 9 pm (which means now it has already begun) PT/12 pm ET/5 pm BST and would end on April 29 at 3 am PT/6 am ET/11 am BST.

The Fallout 76 Pro Snap Deluxe Camera and Repair Kits dropped in patch 8.5, earlier in this week.

According to what we get that Fallout 76 Patch 9 is expected to roll out on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
