I think this could be really good or really good just by the premise alone it fits so many common tropes already in films.

It’s appears that the Fallout TV series has began production as previously teased. At this point, it has been two years since the initial announcement of the series based on the popular RPG franchise.

Previously Walton Goggins was confirmed to be among the cast for the Fallout TV series, but his role was unknown at the time. It was rumored he would be playing a ghoul.

For those unaware of the lore from the games, ghouls are mutated humans that got prolonged exposure to radiation, as the story is set in post-nuclear war America.

Now it has been confirmed by Goggins himself, via his Instagram, that he will indeed be playing a ghoul as originally speculated.

“Day 1… FALLOUT… for Amazon. Deep breath…. Exhale… Let’s see where this road goes want too,” Walton teased on the post.

His statement of “day 1” also likely confirms that production, and even perhaps filming, of the TV series has begun. Images of the set for the series have already been leaked online. While no cast members are shown in it, they do show a locale that would easily fit within the games.

Not to be rude but I think he does have the look to play a character like a ghoul.

Read from CBR:

During an appearance on Lex Fridman's podcast, Howard spoke about how he rejected previous pitches for Fallout adaptations. "When people wanted to make a movie they wanted to tell the story of Fallout 3 or tell the story of Fallout 4, and it was meh," he said. "For this it was, 'Hey let's do something that exists within the world of Fallout.'"

Howard continued, "It's not retelling a game story. It's basically an area of the map. Let's tell a story here that fits in the world that we have built, doesn't break any of the rules, can reference things in the games, but isn't a retelling of the games." He elaborated, "[It] exists in the same world but is its own unique thing, so it adds to it. While also, people who haven't played the games, who can't experience how crazy cool Fallout is, can watch the series."
