Watched another anime and boy was this one really good! What can be descrive as something close to the bleach anime series but better is a anime that deals with a holy war which makes use of dead epic heroes of the past such as king author and Hercules. Everything in the anime was very well done, the artwork was good and the animation was very good and gave many characters menacing or heroic looks. With a second season due out I highly recommend watching this soon and quickly as when you watch one episode you will have to watch another.

Description:

When Shirō was a child, his father told him how he had failed at his life ambition to become a "Hero of Justice". Shirō affirms to his adoptive father that he intends to devote his life to achieving that distant ideal, much to Kiritsugu's chagrin. To do this, Shirō pleads with a begrudging Kiritsugu to teach him sorcery; but being born without the capabilities of a magus, Shirō proves to be talentless in almost all the fundamental sorcerous disciplines.

When the story begins, Fuyuki City is the setting for a secret and violent war among competing magi. For the past two centuries, seven sorcerers have gathered and engage in a Battle Royale, each gambling his or her own life to obtain the Holy Grail, a legendary chalice capable of granting wishes. The past four Holy Grail Wars have typically occurred every sixty years, with the most recent concluding a decade ago, but the fifth war has started prematurely.

Each of the sorcerers, better known as Masters, is aided by one of the seven summoned spiritual familiars known as Servants, who are the reincarnations of legendary souls from all across time. These resurrected souls possess superhuman characteristics and wield powerful artifacts or abilities called Noble Phantasms. Only one Servant can be summoned in each war from one of seven classes: Saber, Archer, Lancer, Berserker, Rider, Assassin, and Caster.

Fate/stay night is only the tip of the series, it expands into other series know as fate/stay zero, a flim, light novel and video games. You are sure to love the whole series so check it all out!

You've seen Fate/Stay Night, now it's time to watch what happened before in the Fate Zero anime (watch the "dubbed" version - it's recommended and I don't think S2 have subbed).
Episodes of Season 2 of Fate Zero just came out in April and I'm watching 'em right now and it's going really great.

This one has more action and it's just awesome. I'm not disappointed at all. Go watch it now, DS.

fate/zero couldn't be dubbed already could it?
I don't think so but the subbed anime is worth it. Trust me, just watch the thing and pretend it's like Naruto Shippuden subbed ( I know you watch subbed anime,

I do watch subbed if dub isn't available but when it comes to action like fate/stay I rather have dub.
cough * Naruto Shippuden * cough
Anyway, I've watched it in subbed and when reading and watching the action, you're not going to have an issue, trust me. Let me know if you're going to watch it, ;)

Only reason I watch Naruto shippuden sub is because it will take years for it all to air here in the states and plus there is stuff I've been waiting to see animated that I can not wait.

I'll most likely watch it once I get Pandora Hearts finished.

@DS - Things are heating up. Fate Zero episode 3 just came out and it was great.
You'll love it...

Fate/Zero is like 10 times better and makes you fully realize how weak a magi Shirō actually was. Saber should really have been much stronger in Fate Stay Night if someone else summoned her. Strangely, even though i dislike Shirō, Archer is my favorite character (watch Unlimited Blade Works if you don't get what i mean).
