Hey guys, I'm wondering what all your favorite pokemon generations are (because I have nothing better to do :p )

EDIT: Apologies for missing FireRed, LeafGreen, Heartgold and Soulsilver on the list on my first edit, I was most likely half-asleep when I made this post

I have little reason, but 3rd gen, only because in 09-10 I got to see the GBA carts, they looked wonderful and everybody was trying to collect them. You also forgot FireRed.

Gen 1 because nostalgia reason and because I really believe it's the best. The plot is simple, but it certainly doesn't take away from the game.

Also Fire Red and Leaf Green are still Gen 1. Not 3, even though they're remakes. Speaking of remakes, there's no Heart Gold or Soul Silver.
 
The 2nd generation was my favorite, i enjoyed being able to travel from the Johto region to the Kanto. Also being able to collect badges from both regions. The best part about the game was being able to obtain both Ho-Oh and Lugia in either game versions.

I love the third gen for the environment you are traveling in and I did like the pokemon contest a little bit.
 
Gen III baby! I liked the Hoenn region the best, and the music is AAA. Just about all of the new Pokemon designs were fantastic, personal favorites being Shiftry, Swampert, Aggron, Absol, and Camerupt (and many more). Team Magma theme is the best bad guys theme so far. Rayquaza was a beast, and the Battle Frontier was a great addition to the franchise.

Don't forget Maxie's voice over in the dubbed version of the anime. I don't know why, but I loved his voice.
 
since there is no "All of the Above" button, I choose Gen 1, I loved having false swipe on my Persian (my favorite)
 
The first pokemon game I got was Coliseum. I also love Hoenn pokemon (and another excuse to say do you remember that creepy sailor on SS Anne?). My second pokemon game was Blue.
