Like I said before... I have a never ending curiosity for what other people like, so... Whats your favorite handheld Zelda game?

(NOTE: does not include Ocarina of time 3D)

Mine is: Links Awakening DX (Gameboy Color/ Virtual Console)

Everything but the DS ones
Probably Minish Cap

Oracle of Seasons/Ages (I count them as one because if you password-link, it's one massive game). So much fun, and I love the concepts and the dungeons. Dungeon 4 in both games has some of my favorite Zelda music ever. Link's Awakening DX is a close second, but the Oracle games have the most replay value for me by far...played through them both so many times...

I loved The Minish Cap. It's a shame it was a little short. The graphics were simply gorgeous. I loved the idea of shrinking to a minute size. The game was a lot of fun. Going to the cloud top, digging dense clouds with mole mitts and travelling from cloud to cloud were one of those fun moments.

Minish Cap. Capcom knows how to make a good hand held Zelda game. The game was fun and it was kind of difficult. I got kind of stuck on a puzzle or two. Plus the bosses were pretty cool. Like the
giant chu chu.

Then it's Oracle of Seasons and then Oracle Ages. I found Ages to be really hard for some reason. It was more puzzle based as where Seasons was more fighting based, which is more my thing than puzzles.

Anybody else felt that Minish Cap was a bit short for a Zelda game? Just curious.

The other 3 handheld Zelda games were much bigger in scope, I felt.
I don't think Minish Cap was short. Then again I haven't played Minish Cap in a few years so I don't remember. I just remember it was a great game.

Sweet, I'm not the only one that likes Minish Cap! The graphics are perfect, the gameplay is just like any other 2D top-down Zelda game (perfect), the dungeons are... well, there aren't too many of them, but the puzzles within them are great, the music is good, and Ezlo is one of my favorite "companion" characters in the series (he's certainly better than Navi). Overall it's one of the best games on the GBA, even if it is a little short for a Zelda game. But it does have some great replay value with the Kinstones and all. It's also the first handheld Zelda game I've ever beaten, and I think it's the only one where I've gotten every single Piece of Heart to have all 20 heart containers. Definitely my favorite handheld Zelda game.

I also like Link's Awakening and Spirit Tracks, but Minish Cap still takes the cake.

Well, compared to Link's Awakening (and even Phantom Hourglass) this seemed a bit short. But yeah, an absolutely awesome game, no question.
