Favorite Horror Movies? (Official Horror Movie Discussion)

It's not too often I watch horror movies but one of my favourites that I remember watching years ago was The Exorcist.

I have yet to watch M3GAN which I hear was a really great movie.

I like especially cosmic horror/Lovecraftian movies. Some of the movies I can recommend are Viod, Empty Man, Glorious. Other horrors I liked very much are Hereditary, Absentia and Sinister.

I’m such a baby when it comes to horror movies, but I’m also oddly attracted to absolutely freaking terrifying myself, sooooo… I always really loved the classic Nightmare on Elm Street movies growing up, even though they’re kind of cheesy (and still gave me terrible nightmares lol). For some terrible reason, I watched a movie that I cannot recommend a couple weeks ago. It messed me up so bad, and I feel like just sharing the name of the film is an infohazard to anyone who sees it. ^^;

As for an actual favorite… it’s probably gotta be one of those extremely stupid B movies, like Killer Sofa or something like that.

I'd have to choose Event Horizon.

In the year 2046, a rescue mission is sent to the outer reaches of our solar system to salvage the Event Horizon, a prototype spaceship missing for the last seven years, whose crew vanished without a trace. As the rescuers search for survivors, they discover the terrifying secrets that lie within the mysterious space ship.

Its horror and science fiction. What's not to like about that?
