Topic says it perfectly.

Mine would have to be Super Mario Sunshine because of the interaction of you being in the Mushroom Kingdom outside of the Castle. I loved going all around Isle Delfino fooling around with the Natives

It gave me the "Feeling" that I was in the Mario world with all those people in a community type area. Cheesy, but true

Super Mario Galaxy 2. For fifty bucks, you get 120 stars. No, that's not it. THEN... you get to go find 120 MORE stars. Then, you get to play quite a challenge of a galaxy... but it's not over. Manage to obtain 9999 star bits and you unlock a challenge perfect for hardcore fans. The game is big, and just as awesome as the first one.

Actually Super Mario Sunshine is not in the Mushroom Kingdom at all, it's in the Southern Sea of Mushroom World. The Mushroom Kingdom is also in the Mushroom World. Saying Isle Delfino is in the Mushroom Kingdom is like saying England is in France or Europe is in Africa, they're not in anything, they are seperate places. Sarasaland is another place seperate from the Mushroom Kingdom, as is Diamond City, heck the latter is not even on the Mushroom World (which is a planet), it's on Earth.
 
Super Mario Sunshine, it was so unique and colorful with a lot of new characters and very fun levels along with new frustrating ones. It was one of my favorite games of all time and I never get sick of hearing the music in Super Mario Sunshine. Good music + Good Gameplay = Grade A Game.
 
Either Super Mario 64 or the first Super Mario Galaxy. Good old classic platforming, fairly standard Mario themed levels, no gimmicks like FLUDD.
 
I loved Sunshine to be honest. The region was unique. The music was good, and the places were vibrant and fun. I felt it was a very well made game and I enjoyed it very much.
 
Mine is SM64. It was amazing and all that. It's cliche I know.
