What are some of your favorite PC game titles of all-time?

I think my all-time favorite PC game has to be Minecraft. I can not imagine how many hours I have spent playing the game since I purchased it in early alpha. I love how you can really do whatever your heart desires. You create your own story.

Besides Minecraft, I have also really loved Age of Empires, Civilization, and the Sims. All the games in these series were good in my opinion.

My top three, in no particular order, have to be Civ V, Borderlands 2, and League of Legends. Those are the three I find myself playing again and again, even after I've done them all to death. Doesn't hurt that RL friends of mine play all three of those, and therefore I have incentive to keep playing and bettering myself. Even so, they're the ones I've logged the most time and most enjoyment out of.

I'm not much of a PS Gamer, so for me my top ones would have to be Diablo 2, Thief Gold & 2, Discworld 1 & 2,, and the Forgotten Realms games (Baulder's Gates, Icewind Dales, and Neverwinter Nights). I really enjoyed Tanktics, which was a rare gem of a game to my bro and me, as well as the original versions of Dungeon Keeper 1 & 2 before they remade them for mobile (not that I dislike the mobile version, I haven't played it).

My current favorite is Trove, though I love Beat Hazard, Starbound and Terraria and Minecraft of course. I adore Pandora's Box, an old puzzle game from like 2000 I think, by Microsoft- I'd kill for a sequel, it's the best puzzle game I've ever played. I also love all the Age of Empires and Age of Mythology games, as well as the Zoo Tycoons and the original Neverwinter Nights. Also been working my way through Kingdom's of Amalur: Reckoning as well; I know it was also big on last gen consoles, but I have it on steam.

I've never really played a lot of PC games, but I did play a lot of Putt Putt, Spy Fox, and Pajama Sam. Plus a lot of Oregon Trail. Though the game I played the most was Where In Time Is Carmen Sandieago. I mean it was a learning game, but it was about history and the game is probably why history was my favorite subject.

Though if none of those games count for whatever reason, then I guess Terarria. Even though once you explore a lot of the world my computer lags to crap.

We could always try a small map. >.>

I'd give it a try if you wanted to play through the hardmode as well. Online definitely takes a hit on performance, no matter what game.

Heh, if we're talking about older games I used to play Encarta's Mind Maze game quite a bit:

Age of Empires and The Sims are definitely on the top my list. I love strategy games like Command and Conquer and Star Craft. The Sims 4 is by far my least favorite in a sense that I was way into them as 1, 2, and 3. Then again, I could just be getting older. lol I haven't bought a PC game since. Are there any other strategy games like those out? I mean like, new games?

I've always played World of Warcraft on and off since the release of their first expansion so I guess that's in my top favorite. I've also been playing a bunch of CS:Go right now ( just got my first skin :) )

I think my overall favorite game would have to be Half Life 2, mainly due to it's interesting storyline and characters. Some of my other favorite games would have to be AdVenture Capitalist, Clicker Heroes, Terraria, Minecraft and Team Fortress 2.

I have around 27 PC games, so I would say my top 5 that I play the most. It's not the favorite as in order, since there are allot.

-GTAV & GTAIV
-BF2
-ETS2 with MP patch
-World Of Tanks
-Rage

Probably the Sims 3 is one of my most played games in the PC.
Solitaire for past Windows was another of my predilected.
Then I also like The Stanley Parable. That was quite interesting.

I've never tried empire or civilization but I have the idea that they are good games.

WOW.- which I no longer play, but will always have a special place in my hearth.
SC2.
Dota2.
HOTS.
Warframe, I played Warframe back in beta and I did not like it very much, I played again recently and OMG what an amazing improvement.
