There have been a few different playstations over the years but just because a new one is released doesn't mean everyone will love it more.

Do you have a certain playstation that you loved the most? If yes, which one and why?
 
The PS2 is my favorite Playstation console for sure. 1 was awesome too of course, but 2 allowed you to not only play PS1 games but also DVDs which was a big deal when it came out. The PS3 is eh, it can't even emulate my favorite RPG on the PS1 properly and it was only backwards compatible with PS2 games in the early days. The PS4 was even worse IMO, no backwards compatibility and my first one overheated on me. The PS5 is okay, I prefer my Series S over it though.
 
The Playstation 2 because it has fun games like Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I also like that it can play DVDs, and the controller is nice.
 
The PS2 has one of my favorite libraries. Not really any multi-player for obvious reasons, but it can play so many action platformers and RPGs.
 
I have to agree, PS2 was the most fun of all the PS consoles.

That's the era I played games the most. I think I went to Xbox after the PS2 was end of life.
 
I love both PSX (1) and PS2, but I gotta give the trophy to PS3. Technically, it is the best engineered console of that generation. It may have been the hardest console to develop for, but it is technically superior to anything on the market. You can't port MGS4 to Xbox 360 if you wanted to. Forget the idea of the storage medium, which was DVD's. Tech-wise, it's neck and neck, but PS3 was engineered to be vastly more powerful than Xbox 360. That is, if you know how to push the console.

If Sony had the choice to put SSD's into PS3 at the time, you'd have higher load speeds - and MGS4 would have been playable without the loading screens. PS3 almost got close to the tech demo of MGS4, first released at E3.
 
Psx and Ps2. Sony is just dumb killing many of their classic old excellent franchises instead of continue making them like Nintendo.
