Favorite Pokemon Game?

What's your favorite Pokemon game and why ?

My favorite is Pokemon SoulSilver. Lugia is one of my favorites, I loved how your Pokemon walked with you' How you can catch a variety of different Pokemon in different regions all over the place.
 
Emerald, easily. In my original copy, which I still have, I clocked over 700 hours, more than my original Sapphire's 500, but the battery died, so I need to replace it soon. Second favorite would be the original Silver, my first Pokemon game.
 
I found Black and white to be boring. I wasn't able to get into the game like the others. Emerald was really fun, I played the original and on a emulator.
 
I like them all, but they did get pretty boring. Although Diamond and Pearl were pretty boring too... Platinum was fun.
 
Black and White didn't have that " spark " like the other Pokemon games do. It just seemed like the Pokemon Company was just doing it for money now, it wasn't exactly exciting.
 
Well I myself enjoyed Black and White, so I assume it will be about the same. For people that didn't enjoy BW, probably also the same.

Another question, do you guys feel that the Pokemon games are too easy?
I personally only ever had trouble with the first Gym when my starter was weak to their type, otherwise if you train properly the game is a breeze until you reach the league. Legendaries are tough as well but that's only cause they're hard to catch even with 1 hp.
 
Well I always grinded to much, so yeah when your Pokemon are level 70 by the time you beat the 8th gym, then yeah it's easy. Lol
