I chose Totodile. It was the first water starter I chose since I didn't like Cyndiquil. My second option would be Oshawott because he's the only other water I've started with. Then Squirtle because... it's Squirtle. I hate Mudkip and Piplup though.

By the way, I sense an obvious joke coming.
