Who do you choose and why?
 
Sonic the hedgehog



Reason being, I always enjoyed Sonic games for their gameplay and such, and still do to this day. Unlike most of the rabid fanbase however....I enjoy pretty much all of the sonic games...and am not crazy.

I always thought Sonic's character design was awesoem and creative, not to mention the speedy gameplay in Sonic games is awesome. Doctor Eggman is pretty badass as well..
 
Princess Peach.

I love the idea of the classic female video game character, aside from the badass chicas, i.e. Lara Croft, etc. Although Peach is usually in trouble, there are times when she can also shine and save the day. There should just be a lot more of those, and an updated dress--floor length gowns = hard to kill goombas.
 
Link or Ninten/Ness/Lucas. Link because he's so BA or either 3 Mother main characters because psychic powers ftw.
 
Luigi and Toad rank equally.


Luigi's always been in his brother's shadow, I feel sorry for him, but he's humurous and Very agile. Agility > Power.


Toad is funny, and cute. He is also Underestimated.
 
Mario, for obvious reasons. If it couldn't be him, then it would be Crash, since I grew up playing those awesome games.
 
Shy Guy for me! Why? Because he's a cutie and reminds me of myself in some ways. All cheesiness aside, he's generally a decent character with decent stats (like in Tennis and whatnot), and he makes adorable sounds.
 
Mine has to be sonic. He has been through countless, amazing adventures! He just gives a new meaning to the word speed! However ever since sonic joined Nintendo, it's like Sega can't decide on what to do with him, releasing many Sonic games at once and all..

But I'm on sonic's side through and through!!

If anything, at least there's always something you can look forward to in a Sonic game and that's collecting all the emeralds and transforming into the flashy Super-Sonic. The bad side is that he loses the ability to run while he's Super-Sonic.
