Switch Fighting game suggestions

I'm searching for a fighting game like Street Fighter or Tekken but for the Nintendo Switch. Any recommendations?

I think that's Beat-Em Ups tho.
I'm thinking Pokken or Blade Strangers for easy pick-up and play, Smash Ultimate is a popular one but has DLC fighters, Capcom Fighting Game Collection (definitely has Street Fighter) for variety, and there are numerous 2D Anime fighters to choose from, but if you can't decide, Blazblue has a crossover game but also with spendy DLC.
 
Pokken is great and I really enjoyed SNK Heroines, basically an all female fighter with SNK characters. Pretty cheap now as well!
 
I've got Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Edition for the Switch. My hubby plays it, or he has. He's into those fighting games more than I am. I don't know if there is a Mortal Kombat game for the Switch or not. He normally likes that game as well.

A quick search says Mortal Kombat 11 is on Switch.
 
Skullgirls 2nd encore has not been mentioned yet, pretty easy to pick up and play as it has one of the best tutorials i've seen in any fighting game. Also has a unique mechanic that you distribute your health over multiple characters, Other then that you could do a lot worse then checking out the King of fighters series especially 98 which is amongst my favourite fighters ever. Pretty much anything made by Arc System Works is also worthy of your time, altough you probably going to need a couple of hundred hours to master them.
