The thought is blasphemous, but FF 7 on PS4 comes with some helpful cheats as shown above. Here they are using the thumb sticks on your controller:
L3 - speeds up everything by three
L3+R3 - turns off random encounters
R3 - automatically heals everyone and gives them infinite limit breaks
First two are pretty great, that last one? Overkill......
