Square Enix revealed today that Chocobo GP will release digitally on Nintendo eShop on March 10th, 2022, and that the game will launch in two forms. There will be the premium version, simply titled Chocobo GP, and a free-to-play version called Chocobo GP Lite. This version will include the single-player story prologue for players to experience as well as local and online multiplayer races if they have a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Chocobo GP Lite players can also access the game's 64 player elimination mode if they are being hosted by an owner of the full version.
 
Reminds me of another racing game with an upgradable item motif. I feel like with all these different casual racing titles on Switch it's picking a franchise and play but make sure that it isn't Ryan's World.
 
This looks like a fun kart racing game for Final Fantasy Chocobo fans. I love the colorful 3D graphics and level design of the game.
 
Looks like a solid game. Would have been a massive release for a non-Nintendo console. Surprised no one tried to get the game to compete with Mario Kart.
