Switch 2 FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster Coming July 23, 2026

Square Enix announced that FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23, 2026.


Nintendo Switch 2 features:

  • Character, monster, and background graphics have all been remade in full HD and boast huge improvements to resolution
  • Featuring fully remastered and arranged music
  • Additional elements from the FINAL FANTASY X / FINAL FANTASY X-2 International Version have been fully recreated
  • High-speed mode, no random encounters, and other new quality of life features have been added
 
Been itching to play this again, might pick it up.
 
Wait… I think I actually loved these ones. It’s been a long time, but FFX and X‑2 were some of the last entries I really got into. I’m still waiting for a new Final Fantasy game that isn’t whatever that last single‑player action RPG attempt was, but this could definitely hold me over for a bit. The remaster looks solid, and honestly, revisiting these might be more fun than trying to get into the newer direction the series keeps taking.

Final Fantasy Resonance is close, but unforuntately reeks of a mobile game. I kinda hate the whole 'multiverse' thing that plagues most of gaming as of late.

I heard it was an awesome mobile game (I never played it) and they are redoing it for better offline experience.
 
They keep re-releasing FF X and yet they never put Lulu in an official revealing bikini PLOT and her bra size never officially revealed and fans can only speculate her PLOT size lol. My guess Lulu is either E cup or DDD cup but then without actually seeing her in a revealing bikini it's hard to even speculate correctly enough, also she could pull a black magic to boost her cupsize lol

Good thing with remake Tifa they actually put remake Tifa in an official revealing Bikini PLOT with her bra size officially revealed lol lol
