A new tweet from the official Nintendo Versus account brings players one step closer to the end of Ultimate. The update is Version 13.0.1, and will include "the final fighter adjustments," implying this may be the end of Ultimate's updates. Nintendo reminds players that "replay data from previous versions will be incompatible" once the update is performed, and so players should convert their replays to video in the vault before updating the game.

Was kind of hoping we would get like one more kinda big update like all past stages returning or maybe even a new game mode, but I knew that was just wishful thinking. It's hard to believe Smash Ultimate is really almost over...

I agree it's hard to believe it's ending, but after this it is truly starting to sink in. There's always gonna be people who complain but I hope the end result will be more or less satisfactory for the majority.
