I'm not too sure about how I feel on this new version. Looks a lot like Chrome to me.

What are your opinions on Firefox 4?

EDIT: First thing that I just noticed is that when you right click, the open in new tab and open in new window are switched... this is gonna take a while to get used to.And I do not like the placement of the refresh button.

Downloading it now, and I'll get back to you with my verdict soon.

I've been using it since I believe about March 13 or so. I'm currently using RC2. I'm going to just wait until it automatically updates to the final release version.

I like Firefox 4. (As for the refresh button, there's a good reason you're able to mess with the location of the buttons!) I like the sync feature, which allows you to sync your current tabs and bookmarks to your iPhone on the Firefox app.

huh, i did not know that. thank you very much for pointing that out.

I got sick of Firefox eating my resources as much as I loved it. Even FF4 does the same. I use Chrome now because all it's tasks are separate making it more stable and faster. Maybe if they optimize FF I'll use it.

You can switch the positions of the buttons, right click above the tab and click customize.

I like the add-ons in Firefox much more than Chrome, which is why I use Firefox first (still using version 3.16.7 or whatever the heck it is now) but I was thinking of updating to 4. Honestly, I get infuriated when Firefox crashes, which occurs much more than I would expect it to and I usually end the day by using Chrome because I've never had the experience of it crashing on me. Unfortunately, as I already stated, I enjoy the add-ons Firefox has, most notably the Diigo, Last.FM and StumbleUpon add-ons which aren't available in Chrome (to my knowledge). When I do school work or research I use Firefox because of Diigo, which allows you to highlight text on websites and post sticky notes on the sites, which is extremely helpful when writing papers and referencing information from websites. I really enjoy that Diigo works with my University's library book viewers and I can actually highlight text in the books and articles from there. :3
