What was your first Zelda game you played and on what console/emulator?

My first Zelda game was actually the original NES game. I found a copy of gold cart in a secondhand store when I was little. I started playing Oracle of Ages shortly after.

Man, my first Zelda game was The Minish Cap on the Gameboy Advance. I didn’t even know much about Zelda back then — just picked it up cuz the cover looked super cool . Ended up getting completly hooked. I still remember being stuck for days 'cause I had no idea you could shrink and go into tiny places lol.
A few weeks ago I got nostalgic and downloaded a bunch of old Zelda games from a website (Romsretro.com) rom which was a new website but the thing is I see it was add free and also safe with no virous. Honestly, everything worked great, no weird files or viruses or anything. Runs fine on my emulator too, so no stress there. If you wanna jump back into the old classics, I totally recomend checking it out.

The first Zelda game I ever played was Link's Awakening DX for the GB/C! I did not own it, but it was my cousin's copy, and I just played it!

The first Zelda game I ever owned (and beaten) was Oracle of Seasons for the GBC! I was in 6th grade (2004-2005) then, and I was young, stupid, and inexperienced, and have memories of beating the bosses but dying at the same time (I was dying as the bosses were fading), and going to the game over screen before the game could register the boss as 'defeated' forcing me to fight it over again! UGH! A funny thing that happened while replaying Seasons a few years ago is that against the very first mini-boss: I defeated it, but I actually DIED as it was fading, and went to the game over screen before the game registered the mini-boss as 'defeated', and had to fight it over again! Talk about a blast from the distant past! AND AGAINST THE FIRST MINI-BOSS OF THE GAME!!!

Back while I was still in 6th grade, I never owned Oracle of Ages, so I could not experience the full story until a bit later (maybe 2-3 years?) when I learned about emulation! As I type this post, I am playing the Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages Special Tiger Edition! I play the Special Tiger Editions of the Oracle Games (and then Awakening) anew every December both ways to get all 64 rings, switching the starting game each December (right now is a Seasons year (odd numbered years are Seasons years, and even years are Ages years)), and staying with that order throughout the next year until the next December (where I will start with Ages, and then play the Hero game starting with Seasons to get all 64 rings!)!

It's a tradition to do this each December, starting a new paired run from scratch! It goes like this depending on the year: For December on even numbered years (which was last December) and going on throughout the rest of the year: Seasons>Ages>Awakening>Ages Hero> Seasons Hero>Awakening>End (My favorite order, by the way! For December on odd numbered years (which is the upcoming December), and going on throughout the rest of the year: Ages>Seasons>Awakening>Seasons Hero>Ages Hero>Awakening>End!

That's a lot of words!
