Flip Smart Phones

Looks like 2020 is going to be the year of the flip phone coming back but in the form of your smart phone, anyone thinking of upgrading to it?

I would watch public reviews on it first and see how they do, though I'll most likely wait for a 2nd or 3rd gen.

I know a guy who has a flip phone....but it's an old flip phone. He only got that because the phone he had before that wasn't going to work anymore because they were making everything digital and all the old analog phones weren't going to work anymore. I wonder if he would get one of these new flip phones that you're talking about?

I think these smart flip phones could be popular with people who still use a regular flip phone because they are used to flipping their phone to wake their phone up from standby mode by flipping the phone open, and closing it to put their phone in standby mode again.

Some people also may prefer holding a phone which is the shape of a V when flip open.

It's news to me.
