Flower Power: Favourite Mario Power-up?

My favourite Mairo Power-up is the Fire Flower. What impresses me, is when Mario's outfit changes colour. Unfortunately, his fire can't destroy everything. For one thing, Nintendo seems to forget all about the Fire Flower in more 3D games, to be honest, it would be great if Mario could throw fire balls in Super Mario 64 or something, Imagine the advanced throwing skill

So, what is your favourite Mario Power-up?

Favorite power-up? Ooh, I don't know.
Maybe the Mega Mushroom? I liked stomping around the whole level with little reprocussions.
If you mean "flower power up", I like the Ice Flower. It's like a Fire Flower to a whole new dimension.

I can't say what my favorite is really....It's a tough choice...it really depends on the game being spoken of...they also are different depending on whether the game is in 2d or 3d.

In the 2d games...The Fire Flower

In the 3d games...The Ice Flower (Mario Galaxy 1 style)

Has to be flying mario on SMG1, it gives you so much freedom, the should have used it more.

It can be very useful at times.

Both of those had INCREDIBLY stiff control (the Boulder one might be on purpose, but I still didn't like it).
