Free or paid antivirus?

Paid one for sure.
I don't trust free versions and so far Kaspersky did a great job and I am not going to switch it anytime soon. I use it for my phone, laptop and desktop. In fact I have a subscription for about 10 devices...I think

I haven't used Kaspersky yet. But I'm open to trying something new that's very good.

o_O I don't really have an opinion. There is no such thing as privacy in today's world.
I have been using it for a long time and we do get reports like this from time to time. I remember reading something about Macfee and Nortorn long back... But they are still good software. So I don't really care.
Well there’s privacy and then there’s Russia.

It’s also overpriced imo, and also doesn’t do much different than Microsoft Defender that’s free.

o_O well, it helped me before (_ _)/
I remember trying to get some seats booked during some festival time and didn't check the URL and when I was about to enter my payment details, Kaspersky blocked me and then I saw the URL ;_;
I can be a bit stupid sometimes and so far I have never faced any issue with it and that's that.

Ironically Microsoft Defender gets higher scores than a lot of the paid ones. Which makes you wonder why people are paying for some of these antivirus software.
I think it's probably that it's the trend that's being followed.

If you're using free antivirus software, there isn't any valuable files you're at risk of losing if your system gets attacked. Paid anti virus software is better and it's not expensive to pay for the subscription.
