Games in which evil triumphs

Which of these games have you played? What do you think about games in which the bad guys win or in which evil triumphs over good?

One game that comes to my mind is Diablo. Diablo 1 specially. The whole game revolves around killing Diablo, and in the end, you even kill him.
It seems all is well.
But as shown by Diablo 2, Diablo didn't die at all. The horrific truth is that Diablo actually possesses the body of the hero of Diablo 1.
I found it quite disturbing at first, but it makes up for one hell of a storyline and I love how the whole game plays out.

Maybe the prototype series? You okay as the bad guy in that series, but I've only ever seen my friend play it for 20 minutes. It seems reslly fun, but I have yet to play it for myself.
