Quite a funny question. My mother never used to play any games, as she always read books all the time... But when she got her new Android phone, something just snapped in her head, and she couldn't stop playing mobile phone games. Even to this day, she keeps playing these Bubble Shooters, and she cannot stop talking about them. She installs a new one every now and then, claiming that it's "not a bubble shooter" and that it's totally different from everything else, even though it's basically the exact same thing...
I personally don't like those types of games, but she sure does like those. I don't think she's much into PC/console games however, but I'm pretty sure she played the fist Quake when it came out... That was long ago though.
If you don't know what I mean with a bubble shooter, it's one of these. It is true that they come in quite a lot of variations, but they're still... Bubble Shooters...:
My mom used to kick my ass In Super Mario Bro's back in the NES
After that she played Tetris on my gameboy and now enjoys Mobile puzzle games such as Candy Crush and 4 pics 1 word
Back in the day my mother told me that she really enjoyed playing Pac Man and double dragon alot and my pops told me that my mom would just sit and play these games for hours and hours. I think this may be where I got my love for video gaming from.
My mother only likes racing games - although that might be because she murders them with extreme prejudice. I don't like getting pawned by my mom man... although watching her effortlessly run circles around my siblings never stops being hilarious to me.
This is a kind of disappointing tale. My mom got into Farmville. Obsessed with it. She would wake up in the middle of the night in order to play it and spent way too much money on it. In order to stop playing it she cancelled her internet subscription, she couldn't really afford it because she's already in debt you see and farmville was just an issue. I never knew those facebook games could get you like that.
My mother is a hardcore retro gamer. She plays Pac Man. Yeah Pac Man is really old and all, but she's really good at it. Much better than I'll ever be so it's fun to watch her play. But she can't get to my level when it comes to Mario games so it's all good.
The biggest gaming achievement for my mom are mobile games, mostly those connect 3 puzzle type games or snake knock-offs. Shes' actually pretty boss at the Tetris-like games though.
My Mum doesn't play many games. I remember when we were kids and we used to play on the Super Nintendo and she used to sit and play with us on the Mario games after we had, had dinner and such which was always great fun. The only games my Mum tends to play now is things like Candy Crush and bingo games on Facebook.
