RPG games often have stories, and sometimes it’s hard to skip them. I dislike in-game stories, especially dialogues where a character meets another character and then they battle.

When online play isn't free and there's still lag. DLC in any game, and then on top of that the game gets a remaster and a cheap port.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people mispronounce Ratatta most people pronounce it similar to the word frittata but that's wrong. Scott's Thoughts and Mah Dry Bread are only two Pokemon youtubers that I watch that pronounce it correctly.
When competitive players and speed runners act like the world revolves around them and assume everyone has to enjoy a game like they do.
There’s also a not insignificant portion of the Melee community who thinks their hobby single-handedly saved CRT’s from going into landfills. It’s like retro gaming doesn’t exist or anything, or is all done through emulators.
