General Kid Icarus Uprising Discussion

I was so happy when I saw Magnus again. That guy's awesome was too much to fit into one chapter! And I love the innuendo between him and pit, even if it contradicted.

Like in Chapter 2 when you find a hot spring Pit goes in fully dressed and Magnus is like whaa. Pit explains and he's just like okay cool bro. THEN PIT SAYS HE DOESNT WANT TO STEAM THE SACRED BUNS. (oh mai what does that mean) Poor guy is just like. 8| "We're done talking about this."

Then in the Ring of Chaos chapter, when you find a hot spring and go in as Magnus, he mentions how they don't really heal humans. Pit says it's because there's a proper way to enjoy it. Magnus is like Oh allright bro.

Then Pit says: "Step 3: Remove pants.

oh my god the laughs I had. THE LAUGHS. I think Pit just did that because he was in Magnus's body. Ho Ho Ho.

Also, I have a conspiracy theory that Dark Lord Gaol was Magnus's wife. Anyone else think so?
 
Should I buy Kid Icarus: Uprising? I have been reading reviews of the game online but I think it's up to you guys to decide.
 
It depends on what kind of player you are. If you're a completionist, you're going to be busy for quite a while with the Idols, the treasure hunts, the weapons and the powers.

And even once you've got everything, you can battle other people online with the together mode. And you don't even need a single friend code this time.
 
I beaten the boss rush chapter in under 17 minutes using the darkness bow I won from light v dark.
I still had a drink of the gods left and i'm glad that super laser the great sacred treasure used was removed.
 
I just attended my first Kid Icarus Gathering at a Best Buy. The bad part was that I was like super late. 30 mins before they closed up to be exact. It was fun though. Met a Nintendo rep and we chatted about the game. She had so many cards! It was a good day, I got a pack which had Souflee! I love that monster.

Ill make a report about this in the daily comments thingy, but I recommend attending these when they're in your area. I plan on going to the Gamestop in Aero Drive next saturday if any of you are jackin' it in San Diego.

My favorite weapons for single player are: Optical Blade (335) and Crusade Blade (305)
For Multiplayer mode I only use one weapon: Meteor Bow (242). That weapon (longest range) combined with the power Energy Charge Level 4 is devastating. I slaughter people in LvsD from far away haha
 
I bought the game last weekend And I LOVE it. I have just beat Medusa do you guys have a few tips on good weapons?

Have you guys played the tutorial videos on "How to play"? If you click on the watch all tab, Pit asks about Kid Icarus. I loled when Palutena refused to tell him the truth.

He didn't ask about kid icarus he asked about icarus. Also if you wait along while on the title screen the last two tutorial videos will play along with extra gameplay after each video.
 
I really don't get the purpose of shadow pit when it only appears in one chapter and uses either a cannon, blade, palm, or orbitars. Dyntos could at least use it once.

I just got the strategy guide for the game. I mostly did it for the AR cards so I traded in a game and got 16 bucks. The art is amazing in this game. Imma get my scanner ready when I get home.

Anyone interested? Ill post them somewhere on this website if its possible.
