Reliable insider Nate The Hate and Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier have claimed that PlayStation has now shifted plans to keep its single-player titles exclusive to its consoles. In a new report by the latter, Schreier claims the likes of Ghost of Yotei and PlayStation titles planned for release in 2026, like Saros and Marvel's Wolverine, will not be coming to PC any time soon.
According to the report, multiplayer games like Marvel Tokon and Marathon are expected to launch on multiple systems going forward, most likely due to the massive success of Helldivers 2. Titles already promised to release on PC, like Death Stranding 2 and the recently announced Kena: Scars of Kosmora, will still launch, but after that, single-player titles from PlayStation will be for PlayStation owners only.
Schreier then goes on to claim that Sony's plans are shifting so consistently that plans for a Ghost of Yotei PC release were actually scrapped in recent weeks, as well as other internally developed PlayStation games. That suggests PlayStation's plans changed rather recently, though exactly why is still a mystery.
