Here they are, at long last, the Google Phones. They come in two sizes: a 5-inch model with an HD display and a 5.5-inch model with a QHD display. Prices start at $649 for a 32GB model, but they are perhaps the most refined Android phones we’ve ever laid hands on.

The Pixel phone kinds of look like an iPhone.

I hear it has a very high resolution, though seems kind of pointless for a small screen.

The high resolution Screen maybe useful for Virtual Reality phone headsets like Cardboard VR and Samsung Gear VR.

But, the high resolution screen is not useful for most users who don't plan on using VR.
