I'm sure most of you have a ton of Nintendo memories like me. Almost every gamer has owned a Nintendo console at some point in their lives, especially as a kid. This is a place to discuss some of your favorite memories.

The first one that comes to my mine is waking up early in the morning to play Pokemon Silver on my Gameboy Color. It was a time before I had access to the internet and knew everything about the games. I would stumble on areas that I never knew existed and it blew my mind. I will never recapture that feeling again sadly.
 
Playing Super Mario 64.

Or more precisely, two memories:

1. Playing it for the first time, exploring Bob-omb Battlefield and being a bit nervous to approach the Chain Chomp in the middle of the area.

2. Having a relative visit who'd cleared much more of the game, and seeing the likes of Wet-Dry World and Tiny Huge Island for the first time. Made me want to keep playing so I could unlock the levels in the final section of the game.
 
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past was the game that cemented Nintendo as a gaming console that I would own (I currently have two Ninendo DS, three 3DS a Wii and Wii U now). That game was fairly ingenious and I remember spending many hours on the SNES playing it over and over and ...
 
Mine are from my early childhood of going over to my grandmas to play the NES or SNES or being at home playing my N64 and just always enjoying myself unlike these days.
 
Impromptu Super Smash Bros tournaments with friends is my favorite Nintendo memory, from playing on the 64 with my cousins to last weekend with my brother, Smash Bros has always been the perfect series to play with almost anyone.
 
I think that most vivid memories that I have of it is in the summer, I used to play video games with my cousins all the day, I am not even kidding, and it was great. Our favorite video game was Mario Kart but we also enjoyed playing Street Fighter and The Legend of Zelda. Hot days, video games, junk food, soda and sleeping late at summer time, what can be better than that for a 9 year old boy?
 
Of course! My friends and I used to pull all-nighters during summer trying to get everything in Banjo Kazooie for the Nintendo64, at the time we were having a great time but not thinking much of it. Now I know how much of that time with my old N64 influenced the games I like today and my standards for immersion, music, story...

It is really crazy how much content there was in those game with the hardware of those old consoles.
