Multi GTA 6 starts development, considered Tokyo

Several years ago the Rockstar team sent staff to the Japanese city for a research project. The idea was canned back then though due to the difficult road system and the fact that USA branded vehicles and ideas were so woven into the game that it would be difficult to change. So don't expect GTA 6 to be set outside of the USA.

The site's source also said "preliminary" work has started on Grand Theft Auto 6. However, a location for the game has not been chosen yet, but, if the source is right, it will probably be in the United States.

Very early production then, and likely not to be hearing anything on this game for a couple of years. Where would you like GTA 6 to be set?

Honestly, anywhere. Unless they're going to do something in Austin, I wouldn't even know how "life-like" the setting is. As long as the map has tons to explore, I think I'll be okay.
