Guinness Lists Top 50 Games

Guinness World's Records, which calls itself "the global authority on record-breaking achievements," has compiled and released a list of the top 50 console games of all time. Rather than list the best selling games of all time or the most critically lauded games of all time, or anything that can be objectively measured (Guinness's strong suit), its "top" list aims to enumerate the top 50 console games ranked on "initial impact and lasting legacy." So it's going to be subjective, but still, it's a deeply weird list.

1) Super Mario Kart

2) Tetris

3) Grand Theft Auto

4) Super Mario World

5) Zelda Ocarina of Time

6) Halo

7) Resident Evil IV

8) Final Fantasy XII

Haven't they ever herd of a game called Fire Emblem?
No been in the US much but it did make a big impact on console strategy gaming(what with it being the first).
