If the PS Vita were ever to be hacked, what would happen to its price? Would it go up or down? I think it will go up since games are so expensive that game companies will have to compensate for the pirated games.
I have never seen console prices go up because of piracy, in fact I have never seen console prices go up at all. I do believe that if the PSP Vita were to become hacked, then there would be more demand for it and the price would not drop any time soon. One of the only reasons that I have not yet purchased a Vita is because of the fact that it is not yet hacked to its homebrew rich potential and from researching online, there are many others like me. If anything, future game prices will go up to compensate for the loss of revenue from piracy, but as we all know that just effects the loyal consumers who are not involved in piracy.
