'Halo DS' Is Real

When we saw the video of Halo DS, we made a quick check of our calendar. It's not April 1st.

According to IGN Editor Matt Casamassina (and video, and screenshots) the greatest mash-up in videogame history isn't a rumor, a hoax or a pipe-dream as had been previously thought. Halo 3 was built, it's playable and the multiplayer looks impossibly sweet.

Unlike earlier specualtion that Halo DS was a homebrew made in a garage, Casamassina says the game was created by a "real development studio and with a very big publisher."

The release date fo Halo DS is... there is no release date. There never will be a release date, either. Due to "reasons we won't discuss," the game will never see the light of day. Here's hoping for a magical bootleg or something.

It looks like GoldenEye for the ds just with halo even had the same sounds lol

And it thought it wasn't for real. I assume they'll just hold it over their heads in the near future.
