Harvest Moon Series

I figured this would fit better here since they have games on a variety of consoles.

So are you familiar with this game series? Ever played it? Like/Dislike it? I've been playing it since I was younger and even though it lacks action and such, it's quite addicting

I've also heard about it, but never played it. I heard it's like Animal Crossing.

I've never played Animal Crossing but I've heard that they're similar too. I've seen screenshots of AC and didn't like the look of them that much, they seemed too 'kiddy' in comparison to most HM games.

pretty much this, if it didn't look to kitty I would look into getting the series.

Mmm, kiddy isn't a way to describe Harvest moon haha, seeing as in back to nature if you neglect your wife she'll divorce you.
I've played a few, got to year two in the first one.

My sis on the other hand is crazy about them, I'm sure she's logged a few hundred hours on them.

Nah, I wouldn't consider HM kiddy either both graphic wise and game play wise. I was just saying AC's graphics look kiddy and unappealing to me.
