Has 3DS support been thin on the ground recently?

It sure does seem like Nintendo and various other companies haven't been releasing quite as many great games for the console recently, doesn't it? I mean, Paper Mario Sticker Star is nice enough and Animal Crossing New Leaf is too, but nothing really seems to be that exciting at the moment.

And where's the third party support for the system? No FPS or driving games? No Mega Man, Castlevania or various other series?

How about second string Nintendo franchises like Kirby and Donkey Kong?

It seems like there really isn't a lot of interesting games coming out at the moment for the system, and that the DS especially got more big name games in a shorter time span.

I noticed that games have slowed greatly since the first year. I really wish there was good support. Also is Animal Crossings out yet?

The only game I want that is only my to get list before my second hand list is Luigi's Mansion. I mean that's not out yet. I don't have Sticker Star yet.

It certainly has died down. Luckily, I kinda ignored my 3DS for the first year or so that I had it (I'm a bad person), but recently I got Super Mario 3D Land and New Super Mario Bros 2 off of the eShop. These games are great, NSMB2 isn't amazing but it's fun enough even when playing on your own. Super Mario 3D Land is like Super Mario Galaxy Lite; I'm loving it so far.
