Has anyone else had this problem?

Occasionally Google Chrome won't load any flash content. I've looked in the support section on their website and found nothing on this. Does anybody know what my problem is, or will I just have to keep switching between this and Firefox?

So far, no. I'v been using Chrome since early summer and I'v had not one problem, what OS are you using?

I've had Chrome for over a year now, and never had problems. But when you try to load up some flash thing, does a little puzzle piece with [sup]x[/sup]-[sup]x[/sup] for eyes pop up?

I know what your talking about, but no. It just keeps trying to load, but it doesn't. The funny thing is that it's starting to happen on our other computer too... This is Windows 7, the other is Vista.

I googled your issue and came up with this from here:

Maybe clearing cookies and cache helps , If does not then try this :-

Check this thread once :-

or

type this in the address bar:* about:plugins
- there should be two "Shockwave Flash" plugins
- click DISABLE on the "gcswf32.dll" one near the top
- leave the "npswf32.dll" version enabled near the bottom on the page

:S

Huh, that worked. A few things needed to be updated, but not flash. Well thanks for the help, Arcella. Problem Solved.

... T_T It helps me load pages, but I still get the same thing when it's re-enabled. I've re-installed Chrome before because of this problem so it's not that. It just randomly chooses when flash will work, and that is not right now. ;_;

Chrome is kinda an annoying browser-if it has to save one of the tabs to virtual memory, it completely forgets about it. And when you try to go back to it, the tab dies, along with maybe a couple more. The feature of having the tabs easily die is more annoying then how it can come in useful when killing a rickroll page. Firefox doesn't do that, but it generally runs slightly slower overall. I've never had a problem with flash in either one.

Just get the "Sexy Undo Close Tab" extension. It saves all of my tabs that get closed by accident or because Chrome had a tizzy.
