Pokemon Unite was released in September 2021 and I remember when it was first released, I decided to give it a shot and try it out. I found the game really fun to play, I was quite shocked to see how well I played at ranked when I was able to play that too.
It being a free game, it understandably does have microtransactions but I can't say that it affected my playing the game and having fun.
Have you played Pokemon Unite? What are your thoughts on it?
I like that it exists and that it's a fun team game with a popular series. But the microtransactions arguably make it pay to win and there are some notable bugs right now with the new dog mon. The game just felt really unfair at times if one player was AFK or you lose the Zapdos near the end. I do like, however, is the time management and resource building it does give.
