Yes Quake 3 is freaking awesome! I deathmatched in that game on dial up! hehehe
Quake 3 graphics and sound were pretty nice for an older game.
Raspberry Pi also can run Doom which is an older classic first person shooter which was popular in the past.
I played Doom as well. My very first FPS in fact! I have a 32GB 1800x microSD card. It's fast, like 100+ mb/s. I'm gonna put it in my digital video camera.

I think Doom was my first FPS as well. I also played Wolfeinstein 3D which was a popular FPS in the past.
I think Wolfenstein 3D was one of, if not the, first person shooter!
