ok if i need to further elaborate it is this. lets make them classy? i might personally like a dark black with red letters, or a Zelda theme with a pale orange background and green foreground..maybe triforces in the background. who knows!! but we should find a free program like the myspace ones!

Themes aren't a bad idea. The problem is making them work properly, I guess. I'm interested on the outcome here.

exactly, but at this time of night i have had a few drinks and what not and am not in the zone for words LOL. but it shouldn't be that far from hard. we find out the margins of the existing backgrounds and anyone can get them by right clicking and knowing what they are looking at. but considering not everyone here is past 16 and by then school's offer at least one years of website design, a program would make it easier.

I like the current design though I'd be very happy to see some themes. Perhaps one per franchise/series (not EVERY franchise or series) or something like that.
 
just like the regular themes located at the bottom of the page.

we could just add 2-3 every half a year or so via voting on users ideas!!
 
THESE IDEAS ARE DONE WITH MS PAINT AND I AM A BAD ARTIST!!! so be gentile XD

all i need is to get help or ideas from website designers how to make or use a program

now this was a five second windows paint idea yes i will have to get something better :p like i said we need to find a dang program to make it easy for ppl.

in this idea i have used "fake" 3d pop out .. that did not translate well into MS paint lol. but yeah i like certain things poped out but hey that's me and that's why i had this idea for us to do this i ask again.. please anyone who knows a program to make this easy help us. lol.

here is an additional one i made in 5 minutes again i can take my time i am only getting idea's out there and yes i would love to change more but i am using a VERY bad version of MS paint LOL

ok now i think we should start posting images like i did.. maybe better LOL and i am sure SOMEONE can help with making them real once we vote on them! i would love it if any of you would try. if i do not have to work tomorrow i will personaly make a better zelda theme and a metroid theme! lets see others ! all you have to do realy is full screen your browser and hit print screen then paste it into your favorte art program EVEN ms paint! i am sure we can get some awesome ideas going ppl! look at what i did in a rush! i hope to see dark theme's to vote on happy theme game themes" maybe kirby with stars and cloud's. dont forget it actuly wouldnt be to hard to make one like this,

Uh, I'm not seeing what Mario Paint has to do with anything... at all. He used Microsoft Paint, not Mario Paint.

But yes, we need new themes. I think we were supposed to get more new ones a while ago, but that didn't happen.

I think a cool idea would be an annual "create the new site theme" contest. Have people draw up their own theme ideas and we all, as a community, vote on the ones we like best and the winner's is made into a theme.

Keeps things new and fresh, and makes thee community work together.

Of course, the submitters would have to draw up what it looks like and get the images (since I'm terrible at anything 'artistic'), but I'd definitely be interested in adding them.

And the above posters idea of making it a contest is a good idea as well.

So... how should this idea proceed? Should it be contest based and have people submit theme designs? Or should people just submit them anyway and they all get implemented?

BUT YES! this is exactly what i meant!.. thing is i didnt want to put everyones idea at once in your face lol. but hey i still think "1-3 or more depending on entrants" every few months would be awesome!
 
What about a white & black pokemon


i saw you post this before i didn't ignore it i was just actually thinking up ideas for your theme but you can mess with MS paint also! go to the main forum page hit "prt sc" or "print screen* open a paint program paste it and try changing colors or adding little things. again then post it to a gallery then get its link and post the img here! only thing i can think of for Pokemon B&W to make it different then any other Pokemon theme would be the color and maybe a few legendarys or gym masters around the background..
