When playing Hogwarts Legacy, does which house you're in have any affect on the choices you make throughout the game?

Have you tried playing through the different houses to see if there is any difference? Or did you play the game through just one house (whatever house you think you belong in)?

Imagine being anything other than a Ravenclaw... :eyeroll:
Hey I'm a Ravenclaw and it has nothing to do with my username lol. I thought I was a slytherin for the longest time and my wife thought she was a Ravenclaw but turns out nope she's the slytherin!

There's nothing in that game which requires too much thinking regarding choices. You're murdering hordes of dark wizards and goblins regardless of which house you're in. Everything else is just kinda inconsequential after knowing that.

I believe each house as their own unique mission, but it doesn't impact story or gameplay. Given how much redundancy the game has, I would youtube the other quests.

True. I hope this will be something they learn from while they're making the sequel.

I do enjoy seeing the different common rooms for each house though. In the movies, we get to see the Gryffindor common room plenty since the trio are all Gryffindor's. But we only get a brief glimpse of the Slytherin common room in the second movie and I don't think we get to see the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff common rooms at all (at least, not in the movies anyway). If I'm not mistaken, Harry does get to see the Ravenclaw common room during the Deathly Hallows book but that didn't make the cut when it came to the movies.

Maybe ravenclaw? But yeah they never showed them, hope the tv series fixes it.

I have a feeling the show is going to be closer to the books, but we'll have to wait and see. Since the books and films are through Harry Potter's eyes, it's no wonder why we never got to see the Hufflepuff common room. Also doesn't the story change a little bit depending on the house you pick? My wife played the game but I haven't.
