Not really. the ending of S1 was better then GOT season finale ending that's for sure

It's a very long wait but I think that it's the same thing they did with GOT.

I heard how towards the end they didn't have a dragon battle but just straight up blinded the kid. Some big changes.

Yeah, the Dance of the dragons will kick off in the next season 2. We only got what started the war with Aemond's Vhgar killing Lucerys and Arrax.
